WHAT IS FSN's FANTASY RACING SERVICE
FSN's Fantasy Racing Service is a complete administration tool for running your fantasy NASCAR league. All of the administration is done on the internet. There is NO software to download and install! No more getting e-mails from your team owners requesting changes to their teams, no more fumbling with race results and a spreadsheet. Now your team owners can log on to the web site and make their own trades. Since you are administering your league on the internet, all you need is a computer that has internet access. You can administer your league from anywhere at anytime.
The object of the game is for your team of drivers to accumulate the highest fantasy point total any one week or over the course of the 36 week NASCAR Cup Series races. Drivers on your team will earn fantasy points based on the scoring system that you customize.
The minimum entry fee for a league is $99.99 (special promotions may be offered for a limited time), Leagues over 20 teams are charged $5.00 / fantasy team. A 20+ team league costs each owner under $0.14 (14 Cents) per week!
FSN's fantasy racing season covers the complete 36 NASCAR Cup Series races typically starting in February and Continuing until November (10 months!). FSN also allows you to divide you league in to smaller race segments and crowing separate segment winners.
Unlike many other fantasy racing sites, FSN allows the commish to customize his/her own scoring system. Available scoring options are: Start/Finish for all 43 positions, winning race from pole, winning the pole, leading a lap, leading the most laps DNF, DNQ.. etc.
LEAGUE and DRIVER CONFIGURATION
Don't like Jeff Gordon, and don't want him in your pool? Leave him out, It's up to you. If a commissioner wishes to restrict the which Cup Drivers are allowed on a team, he/she can specify customized driver grouping adn salary cap numbers for each driver. Some of our league types and styles are shown below:
|A Customized grouping league allows the commish to place drivers in groups and limit which drivers can be drafted/started/traded by the limits of each group. You chose to have each team submit weekly driver lineups from the drivers on thier team or automatially start each driver every week. The groups are set for each racing season and do not change. You can allow multiple racing seasons if you wish.
|A SALARY CAP league allows the commish to give each driver a salary. The teams can draft any driver they want as long as they do not go over the team salary cap limits you set. You can also have each team submit weekly driver lineups from the drivers on thier team or automatially start each driver every week. Note: With this league format the salary cap values are set for each racing season and do not change. You can allow multiple racing seasons if you wish.
|Custom Groups- Change Weekly is the same as the custom groups except that the group a driver is in changes based on his current Year-To-Date performance. With this format an owner can chose to start any availible driver as long as their lineup meets the defined group limitations.
|Salary Cap- Change Weekly is the same as the standard salary cap except that the driver salary changes based on his current YTD performance. With this format an owner can chose to start any availible driver as long as their lineup meets the defined salary cap limitations.
|Pick Em or Survivor Pool With the Pick`Em or Survivor pools, owners can pick a selected number of drivers each week to start from their team or all of the NASCAR drivers. The commish can put limits on how many drivers an owner can start each week and how many times an owner can start the same driver.
No other site on the net has this level of customization available!
The commissioner can select how many fantasy drives are allowing on a team, how many of those drivers will start, how many driver changes can be made. All the options are decided by you.
The number of driver changes an owner can make is controlled by the commish. If you use our customized driver grouping feature, the commish can specify the changes by group.
End of season ties are broken by using the number of Cup points an owner predicts the Cup champion will have. If you use multiple racing segments, the current points leaders point's are used, and the owners guess is divided by the number of segments.
Another great feature of FSN's fantasy racing is that you set the prizes and decide how it gets paid out. Commissioners can give weekly and yearly high points prizes, and specify how to pay each segment and overall winners. FSN's service tracks it all
You can play in a private with your family, friends, and coworkers. During online sign-up, you will have the opportunity to create a new private password protected site. To access your site, owners will need to know the secret code word which you set. See FSN's
RACE DETAILS FAQ's
Q: What if a race is canceled or postponed?
A: In the event that a scheduled race is posted and rescheduled for a later date, FSN keeps the original NASCAR schedule as is, and proceeded to the next race. When the race is actually run, the results will be posted accordingly.
Q: I've already exceed the number of driver changes my commish allows, but just found out one of my drivers I have didn't qualify. What can I do?
A: Not Much.
Q: What happens if a driver is replaced by another driver during the race?
A: Whatever driver starts the car would get all the points for the finish place of that car.
Q: What if a driver is injured and I have him on my team and another driver will start the race for him this weekend. Do I get that replacement driver automatically?
A: No, in fantasy racing we use drivers, not cars, if you wanted that replacement driver you would have to make a driver change.
